FNB has announced that the bank is expanding its footprint in western Kentucky by opening a new banking facility in Marshall County. Officials say FNB’s new Benton banking facility is projected to open next month.
Bank President/CEO Sally Hopkins says FNB has been serving customers in Marshall County through their existing branch network in neighboring counties. She says they look forward to being more accessible to their customers with this new location and continuing to grow FNB in Marshall County.
Trent Lovett, FNB Marshall County market president, says their customers base in Marshall County has been steadily growing with a branch in the county, so it made perfect sense for the bank to expand and open a new office in Benton. He says they are looking forward to playing an active role in serving the community, while also serving the new and existing customers with all of their banking needs.
According to Hopkins, the new banking facility in Benton is FNB’s third concept branch, modeled after the bank’s Murray South and Paducah Midtown offices. She says the Benton office will feature a modern look and their ‘Start Something Today’ brand. In addition, she notes that the new bank will incorporate design elements that are exclusive to Marshall County as the focal theme utilized throughout the office.
The grand opening of FNB’s new Benton office is projected in May 2022 and will be located at 315 West 5th Street, Suite 700, the previous home of Verizon Wireless. A ribbon-cutting and grand opening event will be announced as plans are finalized.
FNB Bank, founded in 1875, is one of the oldest banks in the state of Kentucky with assets exceeding $650 million. The bank currently has nine locations in Graves, McCracken, Calloway and Trigg County.
