The Lake Barkley Water District has issued a Boil Water Advisory that will remain in effect until further notice for Canton Blue Springs Road — from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church all the way to the end.
Due to heavy rains experienced this week, officials noted a 6-inch line and under a culvert washed away, and the location remained under 6-foot of water. A large pump was brought in to clean the area, and a water sample will be sent off Wednesday morning.
At the very least, the advisory will remain until Thursday morning.
