Huge Tuesday Puts Cadiz Rotary Auction on Pace to Reach $300K Goal

The second night of the 55th annual Cadiz Rotary radio auction not only surpassed last year’s total for Tuesday but also surpassed the 2019 numbers in what has been the last in-person auction prior to the pandemic.

Auction co-chair Alana Baker Dunn announced the Tuesday totals at the conclusion of the online bidding.

With the generous match of a friend of Rotary, Tuesday’s grand total topped $33,000.

This year’s auction is pacing over $50,000 ahead of the first two days of 2021.

Rotarian David Miller said much of last year’s week-long auction went right back into the students and programs of Trigg County.
