Cadiz Rotarians Don’t Let Adverse Weather Slow Them Down

Despite stormy weather that delayed the start of Wednesday’s 55th annual Cadiz Rotary Club’s annual radio auction, 162 items were sold with the total nearly equaling the 2019 pre-Covid total.

Rotarians had originally planned to hold off on Wednesday’s auction due to severe storms that moved through the area and resulted in multiple tornado warnings. However, the system moved through faster than anticipated with some club members deciding to air a scaled-down night on the radio.

Auction co-chair Alana Baker Dunn was grateful for the community’s support despite the adverse weather.
