A Drakesboro man was charged with possession of meth on West 7th Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 28-year-old Andrew McElhiney was found to have a syringe containing meth and his blood along with meth in his pocket.
During the arrest, he was found to have active warrants for failure to appear and probation violation.
He was arrested and charged with possession of meth third or more offenses and possession of drug paraphernalia.
