The Hopkinsville Rotary Club’s 72nd annual fundraising auction is continuing to outpace the 2021 event by a large margin.
At the end of Tuesday night’s auction Chairman Andrew Wilson announced Rotarians sold 202 items to bring in $26,293 dollars. Tuesday night the diner and sweet shop brought in $7,170 and the hour and goat club raised $149,000. After two nights the 72nd annual auction has raised $183,452, which places the week’s fundraising total $87,100 ahead of 2021.
During his closing comments at the conclusion of Tuesday’s auction, Chairman Andrew Wilson said one of the contributing factors to a great auction was the big board.
