Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges In Christian County

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Butler Road in Christian County Monday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped 33-year-old Kenneth Evans for a traffic violation and found he was driving on a suspended license.

After a search of his vehicle, marijuana, meth, drug paraphernalia along with Suboxone and Hydrocodone pills were reportedly located.

He was arrested and charged with failure to maintain required insurance, careless driving, failure to or improper turn signal, driving on a DUI suspended license second offense, possession of meth, marijuana, and opiates.
