Cadiz to Receive $160,000 Grant for Sewer Line Project

The City of Cadiz will receive over $160,000 to replace sewer lines in an area along Lafayette Street behind Trigg County Middle School.

Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman presented mayor Todd King with a ceremonial check for $161,422 Thursday morning at the Trigg County Justice Center.

King said the money will be used to replace 2,600 feet of sewer lines.

Coleman said projects like this for small communities resonate with her because she, too, comes from a small town.
