Two men versed in government are squaring off for the Christian County Magistrate District 6 seat. Incumbent, Phillip Peterson and Oak Grove City Councilman James McKnight will appear on the May 17th Republican Primary Ballot.
Roads are a hot topic for many and McKnight thinks the state is aware of issues.
Peterson says he thinks discussing specific issues gets the job done.
When asked what distinguished them appart, Peterson said it was his record.
McKnight said it was his commitment to fiscal responsibility.
The two men answered questions Friday night from the Christian County Republican Party.
