A new coffee shop, familiar to the area, will soon be opening a kiosk in Hopkinsville.
Lasaters Coffee & Tea — with five locations in Clarksville, one in Fort Campbell, two in Cleveland, Tennessee and one in Goodlettsville, Tennessee — announced through social media Wednesday it would be locating its 10th facility at 10632 Eagle Way Bypass, near Tractor’s Supply and Lowe’s.
The new cafe/drive-thru will serve award-winning coffee, espresso drinks, tea, breakfast, lunch and other drink and food options, and the business is currently hiring online at lasaterscoffee.com/apply-online.
The first Lasaters Coffea & Tea opening in May 2004, after Mat Lasater and his wife, Annie, moved from Bakersfield, California to Clarksville. That first store, a drive-thru, was located on Riverside Drive near historic downtown Clarksville.
Lasater coffees are custom-roasted at the warehouse and headquarters in Clarksville, and are often paired with panini sandwiches, grilled wraps, breakfast foods and sweet treats.
In 2017, the Lasaters sold the brand and all its franchising rights to longtime franchisees Ricky and Nicole Edwards, who were already part of the Lasaters company.
