Jeffers Bend to Host Third Annual Water Festival Saturday

The third annual Water Festival at Jeffers Bend returns Saturday after a COVID-related hiatus. The event is designed for families to learn and experience the importance of water, especially drinking water in their community.

Charles Turner, whose career spanned decades with the Pennyrile Area Development District’s Resource, Conservation, and Development Coordinator, said pre-COVID events had large turnouts.
