Two men were charged after they allegedly broke into an apartment and assaulted a woman on North Elm Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old Andrew Ferguson and another man forced their way into a woman’s apartment and punched her in the face then assaulted her nephew before leaving.
Ferguson was located on Center Street in Hopkinsville after the assault along with 25-year-old Jessie Williams who reportedly drove Ferguson and the second man to and from the apartment for the fight.
They were both arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault. The second man involved in the assault has not been located.
