With a message surrounding non-negotiables Heritage Christian Academy history teacher and basketball coach Matt McGowan laid out a challenge to the class of 2022.
Thirty-one graduates celebrated their commencement Thursday before a large crowd of teachers, staff, family, and friends at the Bruce Convention Center.
McGowan told the class of 2022 to not forget who they are when they head out into the world.

click to download audioPrior to remarks from Valedictorian Savvanah Leigh Blanchard, Headmaster John Walsh presented Warrior of the Year honors to Tori Sutton, Ellie Buckingham, Chris Ruth, and Tucker Wells. Teacher Clara Gilbert recognized a number of graduates with Academic Excellence awards. To conclude the graduation ceremony parents joined their graduates for prayer.
