287 Hopkinsville High School Seniors are ready to go out into the word and make their marks, as their keynote speaker encouraged. The Class of 2022 took the field at the Stadium of Champions to a packed house of family and friends ready to celebrate the final achievement.
Hopkinsville Middle School Principal, and keynote speaker, Nicole Poindexter told the Class of 2022 to laugh.
She adds self reflection is important to growth.
Poindexter served as assistant principal at HHS before moving to HMS and had two daughters in the graduating class.
The Class of 2022 honored Poindexter by making a donation to the Hopkinsville-Christian County Boys and Girls Club in her name.
The school recognized Valedictorian Preston Chaudoin, Salutatorian Grasen Givens, and Top 10 Graduates Abigail Moss, Sophia Maddux, Todd McKenzie, Allison Wood, Clayton Blake, Silas Jackson, Destiny Fields, Anna Hernandez, and Jada Poindexter. Of the 287, 79 were honor graduates.
