Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman was in Hopkinsville Monday to hand out over $200,000 in ceremonial checks that are from the Land and Water Conservation Fund to benefit three parks in Christian County.
Coleman said investing in local infrastructure projects is vital for the state in moving forward and providing a better quality of life.

Christian County Judge-executive Steve Tribble said the current concession stand and bathroom at the Kenny Litchfield Sports Complex date back nearly a half-century.

Tribble said he hopes the work will be completed in time for the start of the 2023 youth baseball and softball season.
