A wreck on Pembroke Road at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way in Hopkinsville sent five people to the hospital Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car was on Pembroke Road when it collided with a truck that was on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way ejecting a woman and man in the truck.
The woman was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville with severe injuries. Four others were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
The crash happened just after 7 pm and the road is expected to remain blocked until around 10 pm as law enforcement reconstructs the crash.
