Police have released the names of five people injured in a wreck on Pembroke Road at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Way in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 58-year-old Mickey Ward of Hopkinsville was on Pembroke Road when it collided with a truck driven by 45-year-old Jeremy Crumpton of Russell Springs that was on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Way.
Two people in Crumpton’s truck 43-year-old Tracy Crumpton of Russell Springs and Logan Reed-Crumpton were ejected in the crash.
Tracy Crumpton was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center then flown to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries. Both drivers along with a second passenger in Crumpton’s truck Logan Reed-Crumpton and a passenger in Ward’s car 48-year-old Bobby Cook of Hopkinsville were taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
The crash happened just after 7 pm and the roadway was blocked for several hours as the crash was reconstructed.
