A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after tools were taken from a Hopkinsville factory Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to PTC Alliance for a burglary in progress and located 31-year-old Joshua Maya hiding in a shipping container.
Maya was reportedly bitten on the wrist by a law enforcement K9 after he would not exit the container for police.
Police say he had peeled back some of the tin on the building and removed two welders, copper wire, and two wrenches.
He was taken to the hospital due to his injuries and later charged with third-degree burglary. The stolen items have a total value of $7,300.
