A tractor-trailer fire on Interstate 24 in Trigg County blocked the westbound lanes of traffic for a period of time Thursday afternoon.
Trigg County emergency personnel say three fire departments were called to the scene after a tractor-trailer carrying washer and dryers caught fire at the 63 mile marker westbound. No one was injured in the fire and the truck itself was able to be disconnected from the trailer with no damage.
