With attendance figures running ahead of the past three years, night seven of the Western Kentucky State Fair continues Thursday night as the annual event heads into the homestretch.
Today is Christian County Farm Bureau Day with members admitted free with a coupon until 6 tonight.
Tony Meacham with the fair board says tonight features the annual farm bureau meeting at the convention center and the tractor pulls at the grandstand.
click to download audioThe farm bureau talent and outstanding youth speeches will be done during the meeting that begins at six. Their entertainment will feature the Todd County Boys Bluegrass and Gospel Band.
The farm stock tractor and diesel truck pulls will begin at seven at the grandstand. Admission is five dollars.
Meacham says the fair runs smoothly thanks to the numerous volunteers who work many hours every year.
