Christian County Public Schools officials have announced a community partnership with Jennie Stuart Health.
This relationship with JSH will give parents and guardians of students the opportunity to ensure the health of their children through well-child exams and vaccinations. More information about clinic appointment dates and availability will be released soon.
In a written statement, CCPS District Health Director Megan Kidd said it was important to maintain great working relationships with community partners like JSH, in order to assist families in whatever they may need. This includes finding healthcare providers. The health, well-being and safety of students is a priority within CCPS.
It is a requirement of the Kentucky Department of Education that students of all ages receive proper physical exams, vaccinations and other health-related documentation.
A list of requirements by grade and age can be found here.
JSH officials will be on-site at school open houses August 2, for those wishing to schedule an appointment for their school physicals and vaccinations.
