A woman charged with murder and robbery in connection to the 2006 death of 84-year old Roscoe Mayes was arraigned in Christian County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.
39-year old Annastaja Hathaway appeared before Judge Andrew Self where her attorney asked the court to schedule a pretrial conference.

According to Christian County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Deputy Chris Miller, Hathaway was located in Texas where she was arrested and then returned to Kentucky. Her bond was set at $1 million.
Two other people, Regina Vause and Lashanda Person were also arrested and charged with murder and robbery in the death of Mayes, who police said died of blunt force trauma at his Greenville Road home in August 2006. However, Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling filed an order Wednesday morning to dismiss Vause’s charges without prejudice.
