Lyon County Sheriff Brent White says organizers of the Kuttawa Cannonball Run have once again outdone themselves and contributed significant donations to entities in the community.
Sheriff White says the Kuttawa Cannonball Run is an annual event in which boaters come to the county to showcase their individual boats on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake. As part of the Cannonball Run, he says the organizers also hold a charity event each year. This year, White says the organizers — similar to last year — made sizeable donations to the sheriff’s department’s K-9 program and the Lyon County Emergency Management’s Water Response Unit.
