A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI after a traffic stop on Lafayette Road in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were looking for a vehicle in connection to a report of a possible hit and run crash in Trigg County.
A vehicle driven by David Leslie was reportedly located driving recklessly and crossing the center line. Deputies say he claimed he had just left his home on South Virginia Street to buy his child who was in the vehicle some food.
He was arrested and charged with DUI, first-degree wanton endangerment, and careless driving.
