Law enforcement asks the community to keep vehicles and garages locked after several burglaries have been reported in Trigg County.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says he has received several reports of burglaries in the
Rhett Boulevard, Lafayette Street, and Shenandoah Estates area starting from around 11 pm Monday to Tuesday morning.
The only items taken were loose change and cash but Acree says in all cases the vehicles and buildings were unlocked.
Acree says it’s important to lock your vehicles, and buildings on your property and to report any suspicious activity.
Acree says they have several leads in the investigation but no arrests have been made at this time.
Deputies ask if you have any information regarding the burglaries to call the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office at 270-522-6014.
