Officials from the United Way of the Pennyrile have revealed the theme for the 2022 Campaign: “Seeds of Hope.”
Co-chairs Lucas Stagner and Whitney Stewart, along with campaign members, will officially kick off this effort with a breakfast planned for 7:30 AM September 22 at the AW Watts Senior Center in Hopkinsville.
Invitations for this gathering are opened at this time, with HES, Bank of Cadiz and Rogers Group serving as key sponsors. To make reservations, please call the United Way at (270) 886-8171.
As always, funds raised from this campaign will help fund more than 40 programs offered by 19 partner non-profit agencies poised in Caldwell, Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.
The breakfast typically includes reports from the campaign cabinet, discussing pacesetter totals and a reveal of the campaign’s fiscal goal. The fall calendar for these efforts will run from September 15 through November 30, and a campaign luncheon and update is schedule for October 25 — in what will be a joined meeting with Hopkinsville’s Rotary and Kiwanis clubs.
In the 2021 campaign co-chaired by Brooke Jung and Dan Kemp, local businesses, philanthropists and miscellaneous donors contributed more than $725,000 to the Pennyrile.
