Students and teachers in the Trigg County School System have been greeted with construction and progress on the grounds one month into the 22-23 school year. And Superintendent Bill Thorpe couldn’t be more pleased.
A new press box and concession stand were built and made ready for the start of the Trigg County football season. Construction of a multi-purpose sports facility is underway and should be complete next year.
Last week, renovation work on the vocational building began which will totally transform the two-story structure built in 1974. Thorpe said it’s not a demolition but it will be a completely different look from top to bottom.
