The Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer's will fill the Christian County Justice Center parking lot Saturday morning as teams walk to raise money to find a cure for the disease.
Meagan Sledge with Baptist Health Deaconess says several teams have spent several months raising money for the annual event.
Sledge says even if you are not part of a team it's easy to participate.
She adds it is important to walk each year for awareness.
Sledge says the walk also shows support for those dealing with the disease and caregivers.
The Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer's begins with registration at 9:30, with the program and walk beginning at 10:00. More information can be found the Alzheimer's Association website.
