Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest In Crofton

A  traffic stop on Madisonville Road in Crofton led to three drug arrests Wednesday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Clevin Robinson says he stopped a vehicle driven by 34-year-old Carl Holloway of Danville leaving the Huck’s in Crofton for not wearing seatbelts and during the stop he could see illegal contraband inside the vehicle in plain view.

Meth, marijuana, synthetic drugs and drug paraphernalia were reportedly found in the vehicle and Holloway and one passenger in the vehicle 31-year-old Jacob Miller of  Illinois attempted to ingest illegal narcotics in an attempt to hide them from the deputies.

Holloway and a second passenger 36-year-old Christy Haskins of Illinois were arrested and charged with possession of meth, marijuana, and synthetic drugs. Holloway was also charged with careless driving and tampering with physical evidence.

Miller was charged with possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.
