Ham Fest Car Show Entering 27th Year of Benefitting Missions

One of the longest-running events at the Trigg County Country Ham Festival is the car show sponsored by the Cadiz Baptist Church Men’s Brotherhood.

In its 27th year, organizer Larry Kemp says the car show supports missions nearby such as The Way Youth Center, and some far away such as helping to build churches overseas.

click to download audioThe entry fee is $20 and Kemp says entries can be cars, trucks, or motorcycles.

click to download audioKemp says he is expecting anything and everything to be on the lot early Saturday morning, with a “Best In Show” selected by votes from the entrants.

All car and model entries will be accepted until 1 p.m., with awards being presented at 3 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Dash plaques will be awarded for all entries, and there will be other prizes awarded including a people’s choice that is voted on by the participants.

The Cadiz Baptist Church Men’s Brotherhood Benefit Car, Truck, & Motorcycle Show will be held in the parking lot of the church annex.
