The Hopkinsville-Christian County Imagination Library is partnering with the Hopkinsville Brewing Company and The Mixer for a “Pints & Pages” Beer Paring Event to raise funds for the Imagination Library.

The event will be a fundraiser for the Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library Imagination Library and take place at the Hopkinsville Brewing Company on East 5th Street.

Library Executive Director DeeAnna Sova said the event includes four different food items prepared by The Mixer and specifically paired with locally brewed beer from the Hopkinsville Brewing Company.

Restaurateur Graham Dawson and Master Brewer Kate Russell will provide explanations on how the paring process works in considering the elements of texture, flavor, aromatics, sweetness, and bitterness.

Tickets are $65 each and can be purchased on the library’s website.

Sova is appreciative of the collaboration between the library, HBC, and the Mixer.

They were partners last year for the progressive “Drop-In Dinner” and this is The Mixer’s fourth pairing event in support of the local Imagination Library.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library program provides free books to Christian County residents from birth through five years of age. The Imagination Library is celebrating its 10th year in Christian County and is currently providing free books to approximately 3,500 children each month.
