A Bowling Green man was charged after he reportedly led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 26-year-old Jaiveyhon Masion after he failed to stop at a stop sign on Robin Road.
Masion was also a person of interest in connection to a drug investigation.
He reportedly fled at speeds of over 100 mph on Kentucky 695 before turning onto Eagle Way, Kentucky 164, Pierce Lane, and Cox Mill Road before the pursuit ended on Kentucky 117 when his vehicle ran off the road.
Deputies say Madion then ran on foot with a large box full of marijuana but was quickly apprehended.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, disregarding a stop sign, disregarding a traffic control device, failure to use turn signal, reckless driving, improper passing, speeding, operating on a suspended or revoked license, first-degree wanton endangerment, and trafficking marijuana.
