A Hopkinsville business will appear on the FOX Business Channel show ‘How America Works with Mike Rowe’ next week.

Siemer Milling Company will be appearing on the Monday episode that airs at 6 pm. It will focus solely on Siemer Milling Company, its employees, wheat suppliers, and the role they play in the milling industry.

Siemer Milling’s roots trace back to 1882 in Teutopolis, Illinois. The Hopkinsville plant opened in 1995 to be close to a Bremner facility that expanded to Princeton three years earlier. It was the first company to locate in what is now the Commerce Park.

Company President Rick Siemer said the show appearance is a great opportunity for Siemer Milling to show how the industry supplies the country with 42 billion pounds of flour every year.

Siemer Milling Company is a family and employee-owned company whose primary product is wheat flour that is milled for the making of foods such as cookies, crackers, cakes, pretzels, batters, breading, and biscuits.
