Cold temperatures and the possibility of snow remain in the forecast for later this week, with the National Weather Service indicating our region could receive two to four inches of snow Thursday and Thursday night.

click to download audioCurrent forecast models from the National Weather Service indicate the region could receive two to four inches of snow Thursday and Thursday night. The precipitation will begin in the form of rain Wednesday night and Thursday morning before cold temperature move in and the rain changes to snow. Forecasters also say there could be some drifting of snow due to strong winds that are predicted for the area.
The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures to only make it to 14 for a high on Friday and 19 on Saturday, with the chance of some snow in the forecast for Thursday and early Friday.
