Funeral services for 86-year-old Thurman Edward Stewart, of Jacksonville, Illinois and formerly of Trigg County, will be 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
A graveside service will be held at 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at Mayfield Memorial Park in Carlinville, Illinois.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 o’clock Tuesday evening at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Illinois, who is in charge of these arrangements.
Stewart is survived by:
Wife, Carol Ann Hoback, of Jacksonville, Illinois;
A daughter, Suzanne (Rodney) Cottrell of Bowling Green;
Two brothers, Levi (Shirley) Stewart of St. Louis, and Lonnie Stewart of Cadiz;
Sister-in-law Gloria Stewart, of Hopkinsville;
10 nieces, 13 nephews, seven great-nieces, eight great-nephews and three grandchildren.
