The Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library is having a Noon Years’ Eve party this Friday for the kids who likely won’t be awake to ring in the new year.
Katie Fields, the youth services assistant, said the free event is a first for the library and will run from 11 to 1 at the library for children aged 10 and under. There will be a balloon drop with noisemakers at noon — exactly 12 hours before the ringing-in of 2023 officially takes place.
Fields said there will be crafts, games, music, and snacks for the kids.
The youth services department provides weekly programming for children through the age of 18 through story time, play and grow, and EPIC hour events.
