Tennessee Man Charged After High-Speed Pursuit

A Memphis, Tennessee man was charged after he allegedly led law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit in Christian County Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Dylan Casey after a city camera notified them that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Georgia.

Casey was reportedly located by police and fled failing to stop at red lights and fleeing at speeds of 100mph even turning his headlights off leading law enforcement to call off the traffic stop due to road conditions.

Police say the vehicle was later located and after using a law enforcement K9 to search the area Casey was found in a bathroom and would not comply with officer demands.

He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, driving on a DUI-suspended license, first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property, theft of a motor vehicle registration plate, possession of marijuana, speeding, and two counts of first-degree fleeing or evading police.
