Cox Mill Road Home Damaged In Tuesday Morning Storm

A home and a garage were damaged on Cox Mill Road in Hopkinsville during a severe storm Tuesday morning.

Christian County Emergency Manager Randy Graham says a home at the 3200 block of Cox Mill Road suffered damage to the garage and home during a storm early Tuesday morning.

In Christian County, trees were reported down blocking the road on Pyle Lane and Woodmont Drive.

In Trigg County, Emergency Management Director David Bryant said he had received no reports of trees down in Cadiz and Trigg County. He said one home in north Trigg County had about two inches of water inside it due to heavy rainfall.

Todd County Emergency Manager Daniel Smith tells the News Edge a couple of trees were reported down in northeastern Todd County after a severe thunderstorm resulting in a tornado warning passed through that county around 5:00.

There were also some reports of flooding on roadways in the area as a result of the heavy rainfall that accompanied the storms.
