A man has been charged in the shooting death of a teenager on Locust Street in Guthrie Saturday morning.
Guthrie Police say 18-year-old William O’Bryan and 16-year-old Xavion Bell and another juvenile were in a room when O’Bryan pointed an AR-15 at Bell and pulled the trigger hitting Bell in the head.
O’Bryan allegedly did not know the gun was loaded and after the shooting tried to make it look like Bell had shot himself.
Bell was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he later died from his injuries.
O’Bryan was arrested Monday and charged with second degree-manslaughter and tampering with physical evidence.
