A man was injured and a mobile home was destroyed in a fire on Greenville Road in Christian County Tuesday afternoon.
Lacy Fire Department Chief Kavin Meacham says firefighters were called to the mobile home on Greenville Road for a fire just after 2 pm and found it engulfed in flames when they arrived.
A man suffered burns to his foot and an ambulance has been called to the scene but he did not want to be transported to the hospital.
A dog that was in the home died in the fire. The double-wide mobile home is located at 8725 Greenville Road.
Lacy Fire Department was assisted by Highland Fire Department.
