Trigg County Hospital Board Approves Digital X-Ray

Members of the Trigg County Hospital Board of Directors took action Thursday to assist and improve its radiology department — unanimously approving a $35,750 cost to upgrade its X-ray to a digital operating system.

Matt Miles R.T., radiology supervisor, explained that the current system is approaching its last legs — with no backup option currently available on campus.

Chief of Staff Dr. Joe Thomas also noted the move was prudent — as previous stops in his career also had digital X-ray options.

Miles said the time saved between CR and digital could be the difference between good care, and great.

Trigg County Hospital’s radiology department also has screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, bone densitometry, CT, MRI and ultrasound at its disposal.

For questions or concerns, one can phone the wing at (270) 522-3215.
