A Christian County man was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in federal prison, followed by a 5-year term of supervised release, for distributing meth and possessing a firearm after having previously been convicted of felony offenses.
43-year-old David Phillips was one of seven people arrested during an investigation on Greenville Road in July 2021. Christian County Sheriff’s deputies said they found a suspected meth lab buried in the ground, scales, two guns, and a handgun reported stolen out of Michigan when a search warrant was executed at the home.
Six other people were charged with possession of meth.
The federal indictment said Phillips distributed five grams or more of meth on three occasions with more than 50 grams found in his possession.
The case was investigated by the ATF Bowling Green Field Office and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
