A report of someone possibly with a gun inside Hopkinsville High School led to a temporary lockdown Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say the school was put on lockdown around 1 p.m. after a teacher overheard two students talking about a weapon and making a threat of a shooting.
Police blocked off the area around the school and are investigating the incident but no gun was found.
The student involved was taken into custody and charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.
