Hopkinsville Couple Charged With Drug Related Offenses

A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged after officers went to their home attempting to locate someone else Sunday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they went to Vera Drive to attempt to locate someone and could see drugs in plain view while they were inside the home. 47-year-old Michael Crowder reportedly gave them consent to search the home. 10 packages of THC gummies along with several other clear packages of THC products were found along with meth and a needle.

Police say 22-year-old Ashtayn Brock who was found to have two active warrants admitted that the meth along with the drug paraphernalia in the home was hers.

Crowder was given a citation charging him with trafficking marijuana. Brock was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
