The National Weather Service in Paducah says the area will experience a windy Wednesday.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for well over half of Kentucky, with our region expecting the highest gusts between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
During the Wind Advisory, south winds will be sustained to around 20-25 mph with gusts of 40-45 mph expected at times.
The NWS says gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Those driving Wednesday are urged to use caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
