A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary after a report of a disturbance on Young Love Street Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 33-year-old Devan Matlock who had already been given a trespass warning for the property entered the apartment and would not let a man inside leave.
Officers made announcements to exit the apartment for 15 minutes before they entered the residence and found him hiding under a couch.
He was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespassing, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
