RFD-TV’s Live To Farm host Kevin Kalb brought a message of appreciation to the Todd County Chamber Agriculture Appreciation Breakfast Thursday morning.
Kalb, who is a farmer from Dubois County, Indiana, spoke to more than 200 agriculture and business leaders during the annual breakfast at the Elkton Baptist Church Life Center.
click to download audioKalb, who previously appeared on the RFD-TV show Corn Warriors, said he started the Live To Farm show to reach farmers and educate the public about farming practices.
He adds their show is aimed at showcasing life on the farm.
click to download audioKalb also discussed the filming of the show and an upcoming trip to South Africa to meet with a farmer who is growing soybeans.
Prior to Kalb speaking Todd County Chamber of Commerce Director Tiffany Groves recognized several farmers in the room who have been farming more than fifty years.
Following Kalb’s remarks, Kelvin DeBerry with Bolinger Real Estate and Auction sold a ham donated by B & B Farms to H & R Agripower to raise $6,250 for Todd County 4-H and FFA.
