A Christian County man was charged with drug possession and DUI after a traffic stop in Logan County Friday afternoon.
Logan County Sheriff’s deputies say 46-year-old Jonathan Williams was stopped on US 68 for going 23 mph over the posted speed limit.
During the stop, deputies say they were able to determine that Williams was under the influence of some kind of illegal drug.
After he was arrested and taken to jail, he was reportedly found to have suspected meth on him after going through a body scanner.
Williams is charged with DUI third offense, possession of meth, speeding, and first-degree promoting contraband.
