The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has postponed a westbound daytime work zone lane restriction that was planned for Monday and Tuesday along Interstate 24 in Trigg County.
This work zone lane restriction along I-24 westbound was slated from the 69 to 68 mile markers near the Trigg-Christian County line, allowing for maintenance work to stabilize a right-of-way that may be impacting some concrete pavement slabs.
Due to the likelihood of rain Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, however, the project is being postponed until a later date.
KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely notice when the work is rescheduled.
