Private family graveside services will be held at a later date for Sudie “Sue” Fiese Henwood, 95, of Hopkinsville.
Burial will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Henwood died of natural causes at Christian Health Center Sunday, March 19, 2023.
Born, on March 12, 1928, in Cadiz to the late Willie Douglas and Effie Ella Armstrong Stagner. She retired from Thomas Industries and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, F.W. Fiese; her second husband, John R. Henwood; her daughter, Carol Farmer; her four brothers, Melvin Stagner, Roy Stagner, Moss Stagner and Billy Stagner; her three sisters, Florence Stagner, Mable Stagner Parker and Ollie Marie Stagner.
Survivors include:
A daughter, Martha Ann Fiese Shaw (Donald Ray) of Pembroke;
Two sons, Kenny Fiese (Pam) of Hopkinsville, Cris Fiese (Linda) of Hopkinsville;
Two brothers, Lacy Stagner of Tucson, Arizona, Arnold Parker of South Pittsburg, Tennessee;
10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
